In class now. Professor tries to argue with me that I cannot make a dynamic website without a DB nor I can make a static site with comments. I think I in fact have a static website with comments… The only PHP on my site is powering my Micropub endpoint, which is in no way related to comments… and the comments themselves are powered by JS (I could make them embedded into data files via Hugo’s data file feature, but I’m not doing this right now since it would cause a rebuild with every single webmention, and each rebuild is slow for now. I’m searching for a way to make it faster.
